Adult Acne Cysts
Adult acne is a common type of acne that affects 25 percent of all adult men and

like the Propionibacterium spp that has been colonizing the sebaceous follicles

bacterial resistances against certain antibiotics have emerged just recently.

antibiotic and its administration modalities should be greatly considered in
order to control the risk of having adult acne cysts. To mention, there are some
oral minocyclines out there that can be used as one of the anti-acneic
therapies. And, there is Elicina, a skin generator and topical antibacterial
alternative for mild adult acne cysts. This treatment is now used along with
oral antibiotics or with Accutane when the adult acne cysts are on its acute
